CRI Upgrades SmartFan® Cirrus-6 Fan Tray Controller

November 2014: Control Resources Inc announces key upgrades to its Cirrus-6 fan tray controller. The versatile product now offers original equipment manufacturers quick, repeatable programming options through its Navigator PRG00-F hand-held programmer and is UL Recognized. 

The Control Resources SmartFan® Cirrus-6 is a programmable, fan tray controller designed to manage and monitor up to six 12, 24, or 48 VDC PWM 4 wire fans or blowers.  “With Navigator hand-held programmer compatibility, users can now quickly customize the Cirrus-6 fan tray temperature control curves, temperature alarm triggers, low fan speed triggers, fail safe modes and more”, said James Kundert, the company’s President.  As with previous generations of the Cirrus-6, on-board or external temperature sensors can be used to control the fan speeds or an I2C interface bus can control and monitor the fans. 

Custom factory programming is available for orders as low 50 pieces making Cirrus-6 a cost-effective programmable fan tray controller for original equipment manufacturers.
