Our Compliance Standards
Below is a breakdown of our applicable compliance documentation. For custom designs, specific requirements are addressed on a per-project basis, tailored to your application and target market. Obsolete products may not be compliant.
RoHS Compliance
Control Resources was an early adopter of RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) requirements. All CRI products—catalog and custom alike—are RoHS compliant.
What this means for you: While mandated for the EU, RoHS is recognized globally as a baseline for the restriction of specific hazardous materials in electronic equipment.
REACH Compliance
We provide REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals) documentation for all catalog products. Custom designs are evaluated individually to ensure your specific REACH requirements are met during the design phase.
What this means for you: REACH governs chemical substances within the EU market. For global supply chains, REACH documentation ensures your product remains compliant and on schedule for launch.
Conflict Minerals Compliance
Our products meet conflict mineral compliance per the Dodd-Frank Act (Section 1502), supported by EICC/GeSI reporting standards. We prioritize supply chain transparency; documentation is available upon request.
What this means for you: For products entering the supply chains of publicly traded companies, conflict minerals documentation is often a non-negotiable requirement.

Quality Standards
Control Resources holds its products and facility to the highest quality standards. Every product that leaves our floor has been tested at 100%. Our first-pass yield rate in 2025 was 99.6%. Our final yield rate, after any rework, was 99.9%.
IPC-A-610 Build Standard
All of our products are assembled to IPC-A-610, the globally recognized standard for acceptability of electronic assemblies. This covers everything from soldering quality to component placement, and it is how we hold our production line accountable to a measurable, industry-accepted benchmark.
